DB Directions is based in New York City, with staff located around the U. S. and in Africa, providing remote database services, including database architecture and design, performance tuning, diagnostics, and training.
The original website, built in 2005, was simple and direct, a good-enough “web presence” to lend credence to the company.
However, as time went by at least two factors created pressure for a new site:
- The market in general came to expect more in a website
- The company began an aggressive campaign to reach a broader constituency
The new site went live a few short weeks after committing the necessary time and resources.
The new DB Directions site is built on the open source WordPress framework, with the StudioPress Corporate Child Theme.
